I recently came across two videos that were a part of separate but rather unique viral campaigns. The first here is a not so run-of-the-mill commercial for Woolite Laundry Detergent, and it was directed by the hard-rocking, horror guru Rob Zombie.
The second campaign I saw was a bit different. It’s a music video by the well-known artist Method Man rhyming about the Sour Patch Kids candies.
Why you ask? Well, it’s actually a music video disguised as a promotion for a new iPhone Game called Sour Fling. Available on iTunes.
I can’t say that these are entirely new concepts but I certainly like the twisty trend advertisers are taking. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more…
